Over a year ago, I was asked by food stylist Betsy Nelson AKA “That Food Girl” to contribute a couple of recipes to a cookbook project she was putting together with her husband, photographer and wine rep Tom Thulen. Well, I had forgotten about it until this Saturday, when I received a very nice surprise in the mail. When I was opening the package, I thought it was another catalog from a restaurant equipment manufacturer (I get a lot of those these days) but instead I was thrilled to see this beautiful book and am even more thrilled to be a part of it!
Tasting Minnesota features recipes from Minnesota chefs and restaurants. It is a nod towards both Minnesota’s past and current thriving food scene. The photography and styling is (not surprisingly) outstanding. The book is a well curated compilation of achievable and adventurous recipes for home cooks and a visual feast showcasing uniquely Minnesotan cuisine.
My two recipes (shown above) are perfect for fall, and this book is packed with so many recipes that I myself can’t wait to try! So – get the book – go to the market – and get cooking! Click Here to order on Amazon.
